My Approach
Therapy is unique to each individual while being equal in measures challenging and rewarding. No two sessions are the same as we deepen the conversation on your inner world and experiences. I follow a CBT approach which will help you to understand the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, body and behaviours, allowing you to understand your patterns and build better ways to cope with life's challenges. You can expect a space with no judgement where we will collaborate and work together to bring about meaningful change.
An integrative approach to therapy means I will take into account you as an individual, your needs and your circumstances, using elements of different approaches to help you explore and cope with your problems.
About Me
My name is Jenna and I am a fully qualified CBT Psychotherapist and Counsellor.
Within BeKnown, my aim to provide a safe, genuine and empathetic space for you to get to know you and tackle any presenting issues holding you back from living your best life. The therapy room is a confidential space for you to explore what is keeping you stuck but it is also a space to develop a greater sense of self awareness. I believe it is this awareness that opens you up to different outlooks and healthier ways to interact with the challenges the world can throw at you.
I advocate for all round wellness and love to lead a very outdoorsy lifestyle. Mindfulness and cold water therapy are two of my other passions and find they bring another fascinating benefit to mental wellbeing.
